Customer-focused cleaning services
Together with our partners, we are responsible for the tidiness and cleanliness of the City of Tampere’s properties, such as government offices, offices, swimming pools, sports halls and museums. In daycare centers, schools and educational institutions, we are responsible for both cleaning and catering services. We are part of the daily lives of the city’s residents almost every day. In offices and government buildings, our cleaners make both working and visiting a pleasant experience. Leisure activities are more enjoyable when swimming pools and sports facilities are clean.
Every group of customers is special to us. It’s wonderful to be part of children’s and young people’s daily lives, and we play our part in their upbringing, both in daycare centers and schools. Keeping one’s surroundings tidy is a fun and important thing to do, and it’s good to learn this from an early age. Safety considerations are, of course, given particular attention. Detergents and cleaning products are stored appropriately and the cleaning cupboard door is kept locked.
Pirkanmaan Voimia is also responsible for maintaining the tidiness and cleanliness of the agreed premises within The Wellbeing Services County of Pirkanmaa, in collaboration with our partners.
When procuring cleaning products and equipment, we act responsibly and in the most environmentally friendly way possible. Proper and regular cleaning also saves taxpayers’ money, as it has a significant impact on the entire life cycle of a building and on the need for repair and maintenance work.
Reliable cleaning services
We have the Nordic Swan Ecolabel
We are the first public sector organisation in Finland to be granted the right to use the Nordic Swan Ecolabel. Our in-house cleaning services were awarded the Nordic Swan Ecolabel in 2019.
The Nordic Ecolabel is one of the best-known and most respected brands in the Nordic region. For a product or service to be awarded the Nordic Ecolabel, it must meet strict environmental requirements based on a life-cycle approach. When awarding the label to a product or service, factors such as the origin of materials, energy consumption during production and use, as well as the use of chemicals and waste generation throughout the entire production and consumption chain are assessed.
We are a member of SSTL Puhtausala ry
Voimia is a corporate member of Puhtausala ry. Puhtausala ry is a national advisory and training organisation for the cleaning sector, whose aim is to make Finland the tidiest and cleanest country in the world.
The organisation, which has been in existence for over 55 years, helps its corporate and individual members to develop professionally within the cleaning sector. The cornerstones of its activities are the development and deepening of expertise, the promotion of innovation within the sector, increasing the influence of the professional cleaning sector, and supporting science and research.
