Carefully prepared meals to support everyday life. As part of our support for independent living, Pirkanmaan Voimia prepares and delivers delicious home-cooked meals to its customers. Let us take professional care of your elderly relative’s nutrition, leaving you free to enjoy important moments together.
The menu is designed to take into account the preferences and wishes of different age groups. The meal ordering system is designed so that customers can choose several of their favourite dishes from the menu if they wish. Meals are prepared at the Koukun Helmi catering centre in the Koukkuniemi area.

A delicious meal delivered straight to your door
The home-delivered meal includes a main course, a side dish (potatoes, mashed potatoes or rice), a vegetable side dish and a dessert. We also always serve a piece of fruit with the soup. Customers can choose their preferred meal option from several choices on the daily menu.

Meal plans for the home-delivered meal service
When planning the menu, the preferences and wishes of the age group are taken into account. A varied diet plays a significant role in people’s well-being and their ability to cope with everyday tasks. On average, a meal from the home-delivered meal service provides one-third of the recommended daily nutrient intake for older people.

Special dietary requirements are catered for on an individual basis. We follow the 2020 recommendations of the National Nutrition Council.
Delivered reliably
Home-delivered meals are delivered to the customer on the agreed delivery days, twice a week between 8 am and 4 pm.
The delivery service will bring your meals right to your fridge and heat them up on request. Please remember that home-delivered meals must always be kept cold (below +6°C).
